This post does not have a recipe, but instead, a little, tiny piece of writing.
Hi guys! I’m Lavanya, a home baker who manages this blog, and recently (on 5th March 2019 ), I started taking orders for the desserts I make! Initially, it was extremely daunting, especially the part wherein I had to figure out how to manage IB with….. well, A BUSINESS.
The initial days of planning were relatively easy, but as I went along, I realized there are a million things to do, one after the other! Designing logos, stickers, business cards, posters, finding the perfect packaging and the list goes on and on! And through this process, guess what I realized? I absolutely suck at designing. Thankfully, I had an amazing bunch of friends who helped me with this process and taught me how to use interfaces like Canva.
After weeks of planning, I had a feeling that I’m ready to go for it. The Bake my Way business launched on 5th March, and I’ve never been happier. It was bumpy in the beginning: issues of managing finances and remembering and logging all my orders in my initial weeks still haunt me, but now, I can happily say, it was all worth it.
Recently, on 5th of September, Bake my Way completed its 6 month business anniversary, and along with that, I also delivered my 100th order. (yes, um, I’m slightly, a little extra proud of myself) (yipeeeee!!!)
I love you all for supporting me through my journey <3
(extra love for people who hear my baking rants on a daily basis, and who helped me make Bake my Way what it is right now; thankkss <3 )
Sharing a few pictures of the 100th order below 😉
