Hi! I’m Lavanya, a self-taught baker, owner of the business ‘Bake my Way’, and a nerd for all things sweet. I’m always on the search for foolproof dessert recipes: a result of lots of trials and lots of fails (!), and obviously, a cloud of mess in the kitchen!
I started my baking journey when I was 15. I enrolled myself into a “Cooking Diploma” batch, fascinated by the world of culinary. Soon after, I found myself in the kitchen: baking experimenting and photographing all my baking adventures.
Subsequently, I launched this website, featuring my food photography and personalized recipes. The appreciation I received constantly pushed me to achieve better and try out new things. My first order for the school’s farewell cake kicked it all off for me.
After a month of planning and designing, I started my own home-baking business. The response I’m receiving is something I’ll always be truly grateful for. Managing school and dessert orders were extremely hectic and overwhelming, yet, joyous and therapeutic for me.
Now, over a span of 3 years, I work for Bake my Way full time and have expanded my skills to making Entremets, customized desserts, wedding cakes, festive hampers and more. I have successfully delivered over 1300 orders and have established a noteworthy clientele.
